Description
City of Wolverhampton Council (CWC) requires a suitably qualified and resourced contractor to provide an Mechanical Repairs and Maintenance Service to locations of CWC's estate portfolio. CWC requires a professionally managed, high-quality maintenance service which, through a regular and organised scheme ensures the maintenance and operation of all items of plant and equipment within the premises in accordance with the Customer’s requirements. The Contractor shall ensure the successful operation and optimum condition of all of CWC's mechanical, electrical, plumbing and drainage systems. The Contractor shall ensure they are maintained at optimum performance in accordance with manufacturers and installers’ recommendations and statutory obligations. The Contractor shall also provide a professionally managed service, for reactive repairs and maintenance 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

The initial term will be for five (5) years, with the option for one (1) two (2) year extension. The contract will be based on minimum acceptable performance (map) being met by the tenderer as identified via key performance indicators. The total contract term will not exceed seven (7) years.
