Description
The Mental Health Commissioners in Kirklees (which consists of Kirklees Council and the Greater Huddersfield and North Kirklees NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups) have for a number of years commissioned a range of community based mental health services, provided through the voluntary sector. These services have successfully provided options that support individuals in their recovery pathway from more serious mental ill-heath issues and for those experiencing lower level mental health problems such as anxiety, depression etc. We believe that following consultation with people accessing the services, carers, referrers and other professionals that the range of services on offer meets the needs of people who use them and support in meeting both the local authorities priorities and those of the NHS 'Five Year Forward View'. We therefore intend to re-procure some of the services where the current contracts have come to their natural end. The services included in this procurement are: • Self-help, Wellbeing and Recovery • Mental Health Creative Arts • Mental Health, Wellbeing and the Natural Environment (formerly The Great Outdoors & Mental Wellbeing) • Women's Mental Health • Integrated Carers Options • Integrated Mental Health Advocacy and Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) Service
