Description
Training Course that will enable clients on the Black Country Impact programme, to learn both the basics, and more advanced BSL skills, which will enable them to become equipped to converse with others, using BSL . The courses could include, but are not limited to the following content: Level 1 Award in British Sign Language o Meeting people, using numbers, weather, transport and directions. o Conversational, people, animals and objects, using numbers, interests and activities, whether, food and drink. o Getting around and exchanging information, refreshment, using numbers. o Clothes and attire Level 2 Certificate in British Sign Language Receptive skills/Conversational BSL/ Productive BSL o Theme 2- Eating and Drinking o Theme 3 -Shopping and spending o Theme 4-Travel and Holidays. o Fingerspelling the alphabet, name and where you are from. o Colours, directions. o Explain different modes of transport, and how you arrived o Talk about friend's family and pets. o Hobbies, interests and everyday activities. o Describe people, objects and buildings. o Compound signs and Directional Verbs o Practice on receptive, presentation and conversational skills. Service Provider must: o include the price of transport and Lunch within the quote; o deliver from a location in the Black Country that is accessible by public transport, outlining the planned delivery locations and venues to be used during the course; o adhere to health and safety rules and regulations being fully responsible for all risk assessments including external activities; provide PPE where necessary and report any accidents/incidents in a timely manner; o report on performance against agreed targets at a timeframe to be agreed and specified in the contract
