River Derwent SSSI/SAC: A River Restoration Optioneering Project

This project aims to identify and present potential river restoration projects on the River Derwent SSSI/SAC in a visually engaging way. The project will develop the broad recommendations of the River Derwent Restoration Plan, to present possible restoration options that will improve the river's geomorphological function. The project will present restoration options with visually engaging maps/graphics, and it will outline project recommendations in a report. The findings of the project will be presented to Natural England in a presentation. The contract is anticipated to start on 10th June 2024 and finish on 13th December 2024.
