MUGA Construction

Drayton Parish Council requires a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) to be provided as part of the additional sports facilities under the Drayton Neighbourhood Plan . Playing fields, a sports pavilion and car park are also being provided on the same site, but the MUGA will be the first of these facilities. Our sports needs survey concluded: "There is a clear need for a MUGA on the pavilion site to enable people to play tennis, football, basketball and all forms of ball play. Netball is currently played at the village school, but the netball club may wish to relocate to the new site. The surface of the MUGA must meet these needs as a minimum and have a free draining all weather surface. The MUGA should be floodlit to enable maximum usage during the winter months".
