AESME Lot 1: Resurvey of Higher Level Stewardship and CS Agreements

Project aim: To assess how HLS and CS agreements contribute towards environmental outcomes across multiple scheme objectives. The objectives of this project are to: - understand how delivery of environmental outcomes have changed over time; - explore the environmental effectiveness of HLS and CS at option and agreement level over time; - explore the extent to which the circumstance (e.g. farm type, ownership etc.), commitment and understanding of the agreement holder has influenced the outcome; - evaluate the patterns of outcome from across the agreement sample to provide an overall assessment of the environmental effectiveness of HLS and CS.
