Contact Service for Looked After Children

This report is seeking approval to extend the contract with Family Solutions for the provision of a Contact Service for Looked After Children whilst the service goes through a competitive procurement process. The need to deliver this provision is statutory and sits within the legislative framework of the Children Act 1989. Ensuring that children and young people are safe in their family environment is at the heart of the Hackney Children and Families social work model.
