Description

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency’s (DVSA) Vehicle and Component Testing Services Framework. DVSA is the Market Surveillance Authority for automotive products in Great Britain. It ensures that vehicles and automotive products placed on the market are monitored and have been designed and manufactured in accordance with type approval requirements. DVSA’s Market Surveillance Unit has annual work programmes to undertake testing of vehicles and components placed on the market against the original approval standards to ensure they are and remain compliant. DVSA requires suppliers to deliver testing requirements, such as emission testing, noise testing, tyre testing, etc. Please see technical specification for more information. DVSA will use the framework to issue call-off competitions to the appointed suppliers who can then bid in line with the process set out in the Call-Off award procedure.
