Description
The Upton Country Park Play Project shall provide a destination play area for the first time in the Country Park. Suppliers are asked to understand the unique setting and opportunity the Country Park provides for play in order to provide a design, supply and install with bespoke equipment that is exciting, challenging and innovative. Three areas have been identified for the play space, as shown in Appendices D and E. The principle play space is located within a shelter belt of Holm Oak and Sweet Chestnut near to the park's historic walled garden. The Sweet Chestnut trees within this area are an integral part of the historic landscape and are therefore of special consideration. The location has a linear aspect and an area of approximately 1,200 square metres with additional areas for complimentary play and ancillary features.
