Description

NHS South West London CCG is inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced and capable providers, to provide low complexity, high volume physiotherapy to all body parts, which will form a key element of an Integrated Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service to patients within the borough of Croydon. The service model is likely to involve a digital first element, with a blended offer of virtual, group and face to face patient sessions. The service provider will work in close liaison with the local NHS Trust - Croydon Health Services NHS Trust and the Croydon GP Collaborative (CGPC). Current thinking is that the contract may have an initial duration of 3 years, with potential to be extended for up to a further 2 years: up to 5 years overall being possible. The modelled contract value is circa £1.2m per year to meet the needs of Croydon's population, with 5 years potentially being worth up to £6m. A competitive procurement is being assumed (subject to market interest and capability), which is currently scheduled to commence by March 2022 to enable a single contract to cover the community physiotherapy requirement. The contract is likely to be awarded by June 2022 to enable service commencement from October 2022.
