Description

Torbay Council is seeking a Provider to deliver a Specialist Stop Smoking Service in Torbay. The service will support adult residents to take steps towards reducing and quitting smoking and long term vaping. The service to be delivered will comprise: • Delivery of regular campaigns to keep reducing and quitting in people’s minds, • Establishing and training a network of people working and volunteering across Torbay who can deliver smoking and vaping advice, • Provision of self-directed support tools, • Behavioural and pharmacological support delivered in person, over the phone and through a fully digital, app based service, • Delivery of outreach support to improve engagement and outcomes for underserved groups. The Provider will be expected to ensure a competent workforce, delivery to national guidance, and strong partnership working to reduce smoking prevalence across the locality, in line with the UK Government’s smokefree 2030 ambition.
