Description

BFI are looking to commission an impact study of Britain on Film (BoF), to help inform the delivery of the remainder of the project, provide evidence as to whether the aims and objectives of the project have been met, and measure the public value of the project. Britain on Film launched on the 7th July 2015 with over 2,000 newly digitised archive films available to view on BFI Player via a map interface. Its aim is; “To offer the people of Britain, from school children to senior citizens, a unique and valuable insight into their screen heritage in all its national and regional diversity – through a vivid picture of life in Britain by its ‘people and places’ from 1895 to today.” We are currently looking to evaluate the success and impact of the project with audiences across the areas of enjoyment, engagement, satisfaction, awareness and value.
