Description
Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation Children and Young People Outreach and Healthy Relationships Service. The provision of a specialist domestic abuse children and young people outreach service, delivered through a full-time Domestic Abuse Prevention and CYP Outreach Worker. The service will support children and young people aged 5 to 18 who have experienced domestic abuse and are linked to domestic abuse safe accommodation pathways, including refuge, dispersed accommodation, second stage accommodation and other relevant safe accommodation arrangements. The service will provide trauma-informed one-to-one support, safety and support planning, recovery-informed work, healthy relationships education, liaison with schools and education settings, and appropriate partnership working with safeguarding, housing, domestic abuse and safe accommodation partners. The service supports the Council's duties under Part 4 of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and will be funded through the Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation grant.
