Description
TfL is undertaking a procurement on behalf of itself and other awarding authorities to set up a framework of concessionaires and service providers that may supply, install, maintain, operate and provide associated services relating to charge points (CP) for electric vehicles within Greater London. The framework is for CPs with a power output capacity of less than 22kw and shall encompass two lots: 1. Shared Power Supply CPs - This type of CP allows the electric vehicle driver to charge their vehicle from a CP which draws its electricity supply from another existing asset, such as a lighting column. TfL is seeking to appoint up to six (6) Providers to the framework who have the capability to supply, install, operate and maintain Shared Electric Charge Points (of less than 22 KW) at sites within Greater London; and 2. Dedicated Power Supply CPs - These are electric vehicle charging units that draw electricity from a feeder pillar. TfL is seeking to appoint up to four (4) Providers to a framework who have the capability to supply, install, operate and maintain free standing Charge Points (of less than 22 KW) at sites within Greater London. The framework agreement will be for a total duration of up to four (4) years with an initial period of three (3) years and the option to extend by up to a further year.
