Description
Fortis Property Care (FPC) intended to engage with a single supplier for the provision of kitchen materials to support planned investment programme work and voids replacement kitchen installations. This procurement was undertaken as a mini-competition via the Cirrus Consortium Kitchen Materials Framework, as detailed in Regulation 33 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 #102. The service will be used primarily by Fortis Living and Rooftop Housing and is available for use by any other part of FPC (both current and future) as required. As such, should Waterloo Housing Group (WHG) require kitchen materials following the recent merger, they can have full access to this contract. If WHG access the contract, this would increase the area of operation into the South East and East Midlands. The maximum duration of the contract will be 6 years, with two break points within the contract length. The estimated contract value is anticipated to be £750,000 (excluding VAT) per annum based on historical expenditure of the two organisations. Following the merger with WHG the contract value could potentially increase to approximately £1,500,000 (excluding VAT) per annum, however, this is not guaranteed and potentially many years away.
