Description
This procurement aims to establish a contract for the supply of food and beverages for retail sale on board trains across the Anglia rail network. Items include ambient snacks, fresh food items, hot and cold beverages, alcoholic drinks and associated consumables. This procurement is divided into multiple diverse lots to encourage SME engagement. Suppliers may bid for one, multiple or all lots. Evaluation will be based on the most advantageous tender, considering both quality and price. Quality considerations will include product range, service delivery, food safety, sustainability and continuous improvement. The contract will also support environmental and social value objectives, including reduction of packaging and food waste, responsible sourcing and increased SME participation.
