E1252 - Centenary Rd, Goole

This scheme consists of excavating sections of the existing grass to widen the carriageway and create additional parking spaces for the residents. Excavation will consist of digging 450 - 850mm approx deep due to the height of the existing grass and replacing with 200mm of reinforced concrete, 100mm type 1 stone, 150mm capping, mesh reinforcement and terram. Further widening works to the carriageway will be undertaken in certain areas where the grass has been over-run by vehicles. Concrete carriageway repairs will be carried out to areas that have been identified as been in a bad state. To finish, there will be top-soiling and grass seeding carried out to the perimeter of the works.
