Description
CORMAC Solutions was formed on 01 April 2012. It is an arms-length, wholly owned company of Cornwall Council responsible for delivering a wide range of services to the Council and residents of Cornwall. CORMAC Solutions wishes to appoint suitably qualified and experienced motor factor suppliers to provide vehicle spare parts, including imprest stock, for CORMAC Solutions' Fleet workshops. The service will primarily be for the supply of factored vehicle spare parts for the use in the repair and maintenance of internal and external vehicle fleets. The procurement will be divided into 4 Lots as follows: 1. Batteries. Includes all standard, heavy duty and commercial vehicle batteries. 2. Car and small van. Includes (but is not limited to) brake pads, brake discs, wiper blades, drop links, wheel cylinders, bulbs, mirrors, mirror glass, clutch kits, bumpers, fuel filters, oil filters and air filters. 3. Light commercial. Includes (but is not limited to) brake pads, brake discs, wiper blades, drop links, wheel cylinders, bulbs, mirrors, mirror glass, clutch kits, bumpers, fuel filters, oil filters and air filters. 4. Heavy commercial. Includes (but is not limited to) brake pads, brake discs, wiper blades, drop links, wheel cylinders, bulbs, mirrors, mirror glass, clutch kits, bumpers, fuel filters, oil filters and air filters. Tenderers can bid for 1 or more Lots, but for each Lot being bid for, Tenderers must be able to supply the full list of the spare parts contained in the respective Lot pricing schedule(s). Potential suppliers must be able to demonstrate that they are able to supply factored vehicle spare parts at the costs, quality, quantity and specification CORMAC Solutions requires. Appointed suppliers will be required to commit to a rebate structure. This is explained in more detail in the procurement documents.
