Water Resources Management Plans - Security Checks

The Authority received draft Water Resource Management Plans (WRMP's) from water companies on 01/12/2017 which detailed how they will balance supply against demand for the next 25 years. The Government must ensure that when these draft plans are consulted on that they do not contain information that may pose a security risk to water supplies. The Authority already require water companies' security officers and certifiers to check the plans before submission. However, legislation requires the Authority to check the plans.
