Description

Derby Homes Ltd (an ALMO to Derby City Council) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Provider to undertake Damp Proofing and Timber Treatment within the boundary of the City of Derby. The works that form this Contract will be undertaken on an as and when required or a scheduled basis, depending on the urgency of the requirement and include, but are not limited to, the following: •Undertake full property surveys to determine the existence of damp or timber damage •Undertake preparation and pre-emptive maintenance to prevent damage from damp, inserts and the like; •Undertake treatment of timber to eradicate damaging insects •Undertake repairs to damage timbers •Undertake repairs following damage from damp No warranty is given to the Provider by Derby Homes as to the amount (if any) or nature of the work which may be required to be carried out by the Provider during the agreement period and no claim for compensation either contractual or otherwise will be accepted in respect of any variation in the volume of the work. This agreement will be set for a period of 24 months and may be extended for a further two periods of 24 months (total of 6 years) at the sole discretion of Derby Homes.
