Independent Overview Report Writer

Sheffield Adult Safeguarding Partnership are looking to identify an Independent Overview Report Author to lead a Safeguarding Adults Review (SAR). They will:-\r \r • Work with and report to the SAR Review Panel and the Adult Safeguarding Partnership relating to this case.\r • Agree the draft Terms of Reference for the process with the SAR Review Panel\r • Liaise and consult with all agencies involved in the process as well as family members and support networks of the victim.\r • Support, and where appropriate challenge, Individual Management Review (IMR) authors.\r • Provide quality assurance for IMRs.\r • Work with the Review Panel to ensure that the report accurately and comprehensively reflects the issues and themes relating to the case.\r • Provide analysis of IMRs which will form the main body of the overview report and ensure lessons to be learnt are identified and SMART recommendations made for improving practice, as well as recognising good practice.\r • Meet deadlines as agreed, delays as a result of any criminal proceedings or other reason will be agreed by the Review Panel.\r • Make recommendations for any redaction of the final report prior to publication if needed. \r
