Ilkley Moor Footpath Repairs

The council requires a suitably qualified contractor to undertake footpath repairs to footpaths adjacent to the Cow and Calf rocks on Ilkley Moor. The contractors need to be aware that access is restricted and therefore we advise that all interested parties visit the site and make their own judgement on appropriate machinery and methods of working. The attached contact sheet includes images of footpaths which are evidently quite steep in places. There is reasonable access to store materials at both ends of the site. Overall there is a combined total of around 1.4km of footpaths to resurface, you will find large boulders obstructing some areas of footpath therefore care will be required.
