Description
Community Learning is designed to help people of different ages and backgrounds gain a new skill, re-connect with learning, pursue an interest, prepare for progression to formal courses or learn how to support their children better. Community Learning supports wider government policies on localism, social justice, stronger families, digital inclusion and social mobility. This call for Adult and Community Learning focuses on some deficits in the current programme by broadening the range and scope of provision on offer and engaging new and different learners. Proposals were invited by the Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") from shortlisted Capable Delivery Partners currently on Category 1 - Activity to Support Engagement and Progression of the Council's Dynamic Purchasing System for the Provision of Education, Training, Employment and Lifelong Learning (REF: KMCIRS-064).
