Footpath resurfacing works Mere Wilts

Mere Town Council wish to improve two footpaths in Mere Wiltshire. Both footpaths have a tarmac surface which has broken up in large areas. We now wish to improve the paths to provide a safe and accessible footpath from Clements Lane to the Town Cemetery. Once complete the path should be able to be used by mobility scooters and pushchairs/buggies. The work will involve excavation and widening of the existing paths, resurfacing and making good banks. Footpath 66 is approximately 131 meters long and footpath 50 is approximately 278 meters long. Companies interested in tendering for the works need to be aware that we require a start date in March 24.
