Description
Cyber Security Design Authority (CSDA) 1. The Contracting Authority for this requirement is Strategic Command (UKStratCom) which is part of the Ministry of Defence (MoD). UKStratCom supports the MoD by making sure that joint capabilities such as medical services, training and education, intelligence and information systems are developed and managed across all five of the land, sea, air, space and cyber domains. The Authority also manages overseas joint operations. 2. The Cyber Resilience Programme sits within the Crypto & Defensive Cyber delivery team within Defence Digital which itself is part of UKStratCom. The CSDA Close Support Partner will be funded by, and accountable to both the Cyber Resilience Programme and the Defence Digital Cyber Security Architecture team. 3. The Defence Digital Cyber Security Architecture team sits within the 2-star Directorate of Cyber Defence & Risk. It is part of the 1-star Cyber Strategy & Architecture function. The CSA team work alongside Cyber Strategy & Innovation and the Defensive Cyber Joint User. The Cyber Security Design Authority (CSDA) will be responsible for the design, creation, and improvement of security architecture products in support of Defence Digital strategy and the associated delivery plans, and in accordance with the established delivery method used within Defence Digital.
