Description
NHS Oldham CCG on behalf of the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership (GMHSCP) are looking to design and deliver a population mental wellbeing programme, including a roll out of the GM Connect 5 'train the trainer' model to complement the existing clinical pathways and to support the population of Greater Manchester to remain well for longer, and to return to wellness sooner. One of the strands of this work includes the commissioning of an organisation that will provide complementary evidence based mental wellbeing self-help resources in a range of mediums including digital, printed and face to face. These resources will enhance the training, enable practitioners to embed self-help in their everyday practice and ultimately improve the wellbeing of GM residents. The GMHSCP has identified a Provider and awarded a contract for this service. GMHSCP will continue to monitor the market throughout the term of this contract so that a baseline position can be determined and options evaluated around next steps at its conclusion.
