D2001 Window 22 Mock-UP and Trials Premise Facilitation

Dounreay has a series of zinc bromide windows, cell 10 in D2001 has 6. Dounreay carried out an optioneering study in 2023 that determined window 22 in cell 10 would be drained of zinc bromide and filled with grout. Dounreay requires this project to be undertaken to fabricate a mock-up of the D2001 Window 22 cell and provide the operations team with the opportunity to train and practise filling the cell window with grout in a safe and controlled environment.
