Description
TVCA is a partnership of five local authorities in North East England which aims to drive economic growth in the region. As part of a new low carbon industrial strategy, TVCA is seeking to catalyse the roll-out of zero emission vehicles and associated infrastructure that will provide environmental and economic development benefits to the region. An early focus of this initiative is to establish a basic network of hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS), as part of a phased approach to creating an expanding hydrogen transport cluster in the North of England. The first phase of the project involves installation of two HRS in the area, along with the deployment of a small fleet of fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs).
