Description
Award Notice for contract for extensive repair and refurbishment work to the Council owned stock, five properties in total, at Coastguard Cottages which is located in Victoria Parade, Ramsgate. The properties are designated as a grade II listed building, which is defined as a building that is of national importance and of special interest. The successful contractor shall deliver a high quality service offering value for money to Residents. As part of this contract the contractor may be required to work in partnership with other Stakeholders and Consultants employed by the client. This requirement is to be developed by TDC and the appointed contractor. It is intended that the contract will commence in August 2016 and run for a period of 22 weeks. The estimated value for the works is 300,000 GBP. The works required by this contract include like-for-like stonework / brickwork refurbishment works, slate roof works and window repairs for which listed building consent is not required. Economic operators should note that the mytenders website will be used to administrate the process and submissions will only be accepted electronically via the Postbox facility.
