Description
CPC intends to put a framework agreement in place with suitable suppliers for the supply of Library Resources. The framework will include the provision of books, e-books, journals / periodicals, e-journals, audio books, audio summaries, library discovery services and associated services to CPC members. The estimated framework value is about £11million over a four year period and the framework has been split is split into 4 Lots as follows: - 1 Library Books & Associated Services 2 Library E-Books & Associated Services 3 Journals / Periodicals, E-Journals & Associated Services 4 Library Discovery Services This is a re-tender of our Library Resources framework which was originally let in April 2012 and spend through the existing framework from May 2012 to April 2016 was just in excess of £11 mil-lion. It is a requirement that the selected supplier(s) will provide this service to CPC members across the UK. We expect the selected supplier(s) to extend the terms to all eligible Institutions and consortia, as defined by the CPC including Further Education Institutions, Sixth Forms, Academies, Schools, Museums, Universities and other similar organisations. The tender is also available for Higher Education institutions via our colleagues in other Consortia. As per our joint contracting programme other bodies that could potentially be interested in accessing the agreement include NWUPC (North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium). Current member details are available per region from the following link:- http://www.thecpc.ac.uk/members/regions.php Current and future member of the CPC are from the education sector, the majority of whom will be on the open access EduBase public portal: - http://www.education.gov.uk/edubase/home.xhtml The CPC reserves the right during the period of this agreement to make subtractions from the list of Participating Institutions. Members have the right to utilise e-auctions during the further competition / call-off stage of supplier selection.
