Following the Successful Conclusion of the PIN as a Call for Competition with the intention to Direct Award, Health Education have commissioned the Supplier for Software licensing and API technology for the Find Your Career Quiz. The Supplier will be providing the software licencing needed to deliver a high-quality personality-based careers quiz that meets the complex skills needed for the 350+ NHS careers while meeting the interest of our users. Over the last three years, usage of the Find your Career quiz has grown and grown. In 2020/21, there were a record 250,000 completions of the quiz, meaning our users getting careers advice based on their interests and qualifications. Peak usage occurred at the height of the pandemic when we know that there was generally more interest in working for the NHS. HEE has very clear objectives in its business plan and Strategic Performance Framework that this online quiz clearly supports: • Widen access to health careers • Increase mental health and cancer workforce • Increase primary care professionals • Increase supply of nurses and allied health professions This tool is already widening access to health careers by demonstrating the wide range of options available. Data is also showing that more and more people are being exposed to careers information on the workforce priorities above.
