Description
Totton & Eling Town Council requires grounds maintenance services from external suppliers to fulfil duties such as grass cutting, shrub and hedge maintenance, planting and watering, assistance with re-wilding programmes and other duties as detailed in forthcoming documentation. Services required are spread across 5 sections (lots). Each lot has a different area of focus e.g. horticulture, grass maintenance of varying frequency, ditching work etc. Thank you for participating in this procurement and for submitting a tender response. Totton & Eling Town Council (T&ETC) has now concluded the evaluation of all tenders recieved and, on the basis of the evaluation process, we are pleased to confirm that the following contractors have been successful for the sections as detailed, Lot Section 1, WWCS Environmental Services Ltd, Lot Sections 2, 3 and 5, KR Commercial Ltd. and Lot Section 4, Hawksworth Garden Services Ltd., and, that T&ETC has decided to proceed with the award of the Totton & Eling Town Council, Grounds Maintenance Contract. Please note the evaluation process was overseen by a panel of two officers and one independent councillor. In accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, T&ETC will now observe an eight (8) working days Standstill Period. The Standstill Period will commence on 05/03/2026 and conclude at midnight on 17/03/2026.
