Brief Description of Requirement The Government's 2021 Innovation Strategy named "Advanced Materials and Manufacturing" as one of the seven technology families of UK strength and opportunity. Materials innovation underpins strategic advantage of the five critical technologies set out in the 2023 Science and Technology Framework and is foundational for achieving many of Government's key priorities.
