ITEP0656 - Defect Reporting Tool

ITEP0656 - Defect Reporting Tool National Highways has had an online defect reporting facility available on its website since 2020. The facility allows customers to use a map-based interface to locate where the issue they want to report is, select the issue they want to report and provide additional information for context. These issues are then passed by the CCC before being passed to regional correspondence teams to investigate, update and fix the issues the customer has reported. Customers can report a range of issues relating to the network, as well as in relation to Major Projects schemes. They can opt-in to receive updates on things they have reported as well as link themselves to an existing issue, rather than create a duplicate report for something that has already been reported.
