Drinking Water Sample Analytical Services Framework Agreement

The Council is required under the Private Water Supplies (England) Regulations 2016 (as amended) ("the Regulations") to draw up a programme of monitoring PWS within its area which will enable it to take and analyse a number of samples as required by those Regulations. The Council intends to appoint a laboratory to analyse water samples which is experienced in such work and which is accredited under the United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) and fully accredited to the following: • Analysis of Drinking Water samples - EN ISO/IEC 17025 Drinking Water Testing Specification which ensures that suitable methods are employed.
