Description
To support Leeds Building Services Water Management Team in delivering Legionella services on behalf of Leeds City Council This contract will be to undertake Control and Monitoring visits for Leeds City Council properties, checking water systems for correct temperatures and sentinel outlets, cyclical visits to Cold Water Storage Tanks and shower cleaning Legionella Risk Assessment for Leeds City Council properties Sampling for Legionella bacteria where required.

Contract initially looking to be set up for a period of two years, if contract value has not been utilized we will look to extend for a further 12 months. This is dependant on works.

Participation
Conditions suppliers must meet to bid.
Water Management Control and Monitoring should be to the standards set out in the ACoP L8 (4th edition), 2013 and the HSG274 guidance documents. Risk Assessments should be performed to the above standards with reference to BS8580 (2019). Any water sampling must be done with reference to BS7592 (2022) and by a UKAS accredited lab to ISO11731:2017 Membership of accredited bodies, such as the Legionella Control Association or the Water Management Society is not technically necessary but is preferred.
