Description
Hampshire County Council (HCC) has awarded a contract for the provision of Virtual Reality Training equipment and software, for Adopt South, the Regional Adoption Agency (a partnership of four local authorities - HCC, Isle of Wight Council, Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council). The use of a VR platform allows adopters and professionals working in the field of adoption to experience the impact of trauma, abuse and neglect through the eyes of a child in a virtual environment. The contract was established following a call-off from the Crown Commercial Services DPS, Spark, reference RM6094. The contract is for up to two years, six months, inclusive of any extension period.
