Description
This Countywide service will provide care and support to deaf British sign language users and will provide staff trained to a minimum of BSL Level 2 or, where BSL is the service user’s first language, the member of staff will be able to demonstrate that they can sign at level 2 or 3. Staff will deliver person centred support work and/or personal care to people with an assessed social care need across Hampshire. The service will initially comprise of individuals known to Hampshire Adult Services, and will accept new referrals as required. This contract will deliver up to 150 hours per week of day support hours to service users.
