Abney Park Restoration - Main Project

Hackney Council has awarded the contract for the restoration of Abney Park. The contract includes the refurbishment and extension of Listed Buildings, construction of new buildings and of landscaping Listed and historic parks and gardens. The Abney Park Restoration Project will secure the future of Abney Park, the magnificent Victorian Cemetery in Hackney, London. By restoring the historic buildings on site, improving accessibility and developing a vibrant programme of activities, the project will change Abney Park from being underused, neglected and at risk of becoming a ruin, to a well-loved and well-used green space.
