Kirkham Public Realm Construction Works

The Project is for public realm works in Kirkham Town centre within Fylde Borough, Lancashire, England. The works are located primarily along Poulton Street and the Market Square including works to Kirkgate Street, Church Street, Freckleton Street and Preston Street. The project will entail the full refurbishment of the hard and soft landscape along the various streets to provide an enhanced facility which will include but not be limited to the following elements as part of the works: New natural stone paving and kerbs New Street lighting New feature lighting Resurfacing of the street carriageway Remodelling of the Market Square to provide space for events and markets Street furniture Upgrade of CCTV and WiFi systems New Street furniture Landscaping Drainage works Upgrade of pedestrian and traffic signal controls Installation of rain gardens Five year maintenance obligations
