Description
Community Sexual Health Lot 1 — Sexual Health Promotion and Psychosocial Support. Lot 2 — Screening and Contraception in the Community. The Public Health Department of Hammersmith and Fulham, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the City of Westminster are seeking to commission a Provider to deliver community contraception 1,2 and 3 and screening for sexually transmitted infections. The aim of the service is to: Reshape the provision of adult community and reproductive sexual health service which is a priority for the three Local Authorities to ensure services meet the needs of residents in achieving the Public Health Outcomes. The three boroughs will require a flexible system that responds to the needs of residents, provides outcomes that are evidence based and reduces the transmission of STIs and prevalence of unplanned pregnancies. In order to achieve the vision the tender aims to increase sexual and reproductive health provision in primary and community settings so that it is easier for people with uncomplicated needs to access services closer to their home or work. A new model of sexual and reproductive health conveniently situated across the boroughs and accessible for the residents of the three boroughs will be commissioned. The service aims to improve the sexual and reproductive health of residents by: • Delivering high quality, confidential and tailored sexual health interventions. • Reducing inequalities and improving sexual health outcomes. • Building an open and honest culture where everyone is able to make informed and responsible choices about relationships and sex • Providing accessible services in a way that meets the needs of the local population and those most at risk. The new service delivery will be commissioned based on local need rather than pan London and will improve the service user’s experience by providing targeted sexual health promotion, accessibility and clearer pathways. Each Lot will be up to 60 months in duration and no other purchasers are named on the Framework Agreements, other than those already named in the Framework Agreement.
