Description
South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (the Authority) is seeking to procure NHS 111 and NHS Integrated Urgent Care Contingency Support Services (the Services) from a single Sub-Contractor for a contract commencing on 1 September 2018 for a period of three years with the option to extend the contract by up to two years in one year increments.The Services will be based on the Integrated Care Commissioning Standards published in September 2015, to deliver to the public and healthcare professionals a single point of telephony access to urgent care, alongside their registered GP and affording the Authority the ability to coordinate urgent care intervention through the NHS 111 service, the Clinical Hub and an Out of Hours telephony & appointment service.The scope of the Service is to provide a managed service comprising call centre agents (Health Advisers), Nurse Advisors and supervisory staff for the duration of the Contract housed within the Sub-contractor's Call Centre.
