Description
The Department for International Trade (DIT) has overall responsibility for developing, coordinating and delivering new trade and investment policy for the UK, including preparing for and then negotiating Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and market access deals with non-EU countries. This contract is for the provision of external legal advice to support the Department for International Trade in the negotiation of a future UK-Australia and UK-New Zealand FTA. Requests for advice will be centred around Australia and New Zealand law and legal structures relating to the traditional areas of an FTA.
