Description

Elevate Berkshire is an employability and skills programme funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). The Elevate Berkshire partnership is made up of a number of key stakeholders including the 6 Berkshire local authorities, The Prince's Trust, Ways into Work and Adviza. The partnership also has a number of delivery partners - delivering activity on behalf of the key stakeholders. The programme is led by a central Elevate Berkshire team based at Reading Borough Council, the accountable body, and brings together a range of other partners, as above, to support young people aged 16-24 in Berkshire who are hard-to-reach or have barriers to employment. The Elevate Berkshire programme is looking to procure two projects for young people aged 16-24 who are unemployed or economically inactive in Slough. You have the option to tender for just one Slough project or both Slough projects. There are further how to bid instructions and documents needing to be completed and submitted in the Background document which you might find useful. Slough Project 1 Project 1 is a fixed price contract of £170,000. This project involves engaging and supporting eligible young people (16 to 24) into employment, education, and training or to gain basic skills. There will be a particular focus on participants who are from ethnic minority (B&ME) backgrounds. Slough Project 2 Project 2 is a fixed price contract of £40,000. This project involves engaging and supporting who are lone parents (18 -24) employment, education, training or to gain basic skills. Both projects are aimed at young people whose needs or barriers to work have resulted in them not participating in employment, training or education, or led to them moving in- and-out of these.
