Description
Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Authority is inviting suitably qualified organisations to bid for the conversion of the Auxiliary Fire Service (AFS) Area, (a former Fire Appliance Bay) based at Bedford Community Fire Station, Barkers Lane, Bedford, MK42 9SB, to a Training Classroom facility. The winning Contractor will be required to deliver the following works: 1.The conversion of the AFS Area, based at Bedford Community Fire Station, Barkers Lane, Bedford, MK42 9SB, to a Training Classroom facility. 2.Install Powder Coated Aluminium window(s) frame and door 3.Install dividing partition wall 4.Install partition wall with fire door and frame to create a storeroom 5.Supply and install FD30 S Fire door and frame to the garage dividing partition wall 6.Supply and install damp proof membrane, insulation and 18mm flooring 7.Install suspended ceiling 8.Install heating and air conditioning equipment 9.Install lighting and electric power points in dado trunking 10.Install external access concrete ramp, to include Hi-Vis edge markings, safety handrail/barrier 11.Final decoration and builders deep clean
