NOTE: This notice was updated on 10 August 2022 for the following reason: Price increase due to cost increases of materials Shortfall of manufacturing costs: £33,960 ex VAT Risk/Contingency (15% allowing for further fluctuation in material costs): £5,094 ex VAT(The Iron Chicken is a calibration and test device to allow full scale proof trials of vibration test equipment in the National Satellite Test Facility. The device is required to provide resonant behaviour which can mimic medium and large satellites and specifically to provide a tuneable overturning moment to prove the capacity of shaker systems.)
