Description
Public Digital has been awarded the contract to guide and support POL's IT transformation strategy and delivery. This includes: - Qualified Coaches: Public Digital will provide experienced coaches to help POL teams implement action plans from the IPA and Public Digital reviews, ensuring successful programme delivery. - Governance Engagement: Public Digital will engage with POL and DBT governance to offer advice, feedback, and assurance, monitoring and assessing the delivery of action plans and the overall programme approach. - Governance Participation: Public Digital will participate in relevant POL Board/sub-Board groups and governance groups below Board level, reporting to DBT governance. Public Digital's assurance coaches will provide advice and guidance in the following areas: - Vision: Aligning direction with POL strategy. - Culture: Improving culture, behaviours, and outcomes. - Best Practices: Ensuring alignment with public sector digital delivery best practices. - Capability: Offering guidance on technology transformation programmes, executive coaching, recruitment processes, and planning capability. - Technology: Developing an effective operating model for digital transformation. - Governance: Driving continuous improvement around governance, including risk model development, transparency support, and funding advice. - User-Centred Practice: Defining roles and responsibilities, establishing feedback loops, and structuring delivery teams. Public Digital will help create a culture of trust and assurance, ensuring confidence in the transformed POL among staff, postmasters, government, and the public.
