Description
The scope of this Framework is to cover the appropriate range of products to help influence ideal wound healing environments. The products are used to provide pathogen-free protection and/or moisten areas for healing of wounds to occur as well as prevent infection and skin breakages including, but not limited to Hydrogels, Gelling Fibres and Alginates, Wound Contact Layers, Super Absorbent Dressings, Dressing Pads, Foam Dressings, Hydrocolloid Dressings, Non-Woven Island Dressings, IV Dressings, Film and Film Island Dressings, Burns and Scar Management, Speciality Wound Care, Wound Irrigation, Debridement, Adhesive Removers, Barrier Creams and Films, Compression Bandages and Medical Adhesive Tapes. The Framework Agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend for up to a total period of 48 months. It is anticipated that initial expenditure for this Framework will be circa £250,960,973 GBP in the first year of this Framework Agreement. If the Framework Agreement is extended to the maximum duration, the anticipated expenditure will be circa £1,003,843,892 GBP to £1,467,008,032 GBP. These are approximates only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement
