Equipment Delivery Service

This contract will provide an Equipment Delivery Service to support the Councils in-house Community Equipment Service (CES) in meeting the Councils duties to help individuals maintain their independence at home by providing essential equipment. The proposed service will support CES by delivering and installing care equipment on behalf of the Council, reducing the back log of equipment the service is unable to deliver and allow the service to meet future demands. This will support the service to meet the Councils priorities around improving Health and Wellbeing, by providing timely access to care equipment and supporting people with long-term conditions or disabilities to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. The contract value will be £100K for 12 months.
