Upgrading the fire compartmentation to prevent any risk of fire or smoke spreading throughout the blocks and protecting the escape routes. Following the Grenfell fire, the business priority was to assess the risk to all blocks as soon as possible. An investigation was carried out by YHN Technical Surveyors which identified an issue with fire compartmentation and protection to residents on escape routes, should emergency evacuation become necessary.
